Dear Colleagues,

It is a great honor and privilege to announce the 17th Congress of the Middle East Society for Organ Transplantation (MESOT) to be held on September 3-5, 2021 in Amman, Jordan.

In light of the ever-evolving COVID-19 pandemic since last year and its impact on travel, and given our responsibility for the health and safety of our colleagues and the global transplant community, as MESOT leadership, we were unfortunately obliged to cancel our congress that was scheduled for December 202

Nevertheless, we are excited at the prospect of bringing the 17th Congress of the MESOT which we are planning on a live meeting. Depending on the circumstances, it may become a hybrid meeting and we will keep you updated regularly through MESOT 2021 website.

The 17th Congress of the MESOT will be an ideal opportunity to share and learn from each other. The scientific program will incorporate a wide range of topics designed to provide an innovative and comprehensive overview of the latest research developments in the field of experimental and clinical transplantation in the Middle East and the world.

In addition to the scientific events, an exciting social program will also be planned so that you may take full advantage of all sights and sounds of the unique city of Amman.

I will be honored to welcome guests from all over the world to Amman in September 2021.

Yours sincerely,

Mehmet Haberal, MD, FACS (Hon), FICS (Hon),
FASA (Hon), FIMSA (Hon), Hon FRCS (Glasg)
