As president of the Middle East Society for Organ Transplantation (MESOT), it is my great honor and pleasure to invite you to participate in the 17th MESOT Congress that will be held in the beautiful city of Amman, Jordan on September 3-5, 2021. Hosting the next MESOT congress for the second time over the last four years in Amman despite all the difficult and unfortunate events that we have been experiencing throughout the pandemic, undoubtedly reflects the commitment and dedication of our Jordanian colleagues to maintaining high academic levels and quality patient care that are in line with international standards. I hope that the forthcoming MESOT meeting will offer participants an exciting and rich scientific program that will represent a great and unique opportunity to exchange new ideas, discuss the new challenges to be faced in the coming times and discover the emerging evidence from the ongoing progress of the corona pandemic and its impact in the fields of both organ donation and transplantation.
